GRE Math

  • Course level:

The GRE subject Test is a standardized testing system in the United States that is created by the Educational Testing Service, and the GRE Maths is one of these tests. It is designed to assess the candidate’s potential for graduate or post-graduate study in the mathematics field. Crafted at the undergraduate level, this test consists of approximately 66 multiple-choice questions, out of which around 50 percent of them involve calculus and its applications, which are assumed to be common to the backgrounds of mostly all mathematics majors. 25% of the questions are in elementary algebra, linear algebra, abstract algebra, and number theory. The remaining of the questions (forming approx. 25%) deal with the other areas of mathematics currently studied by undergraduates in many institutions.

Why should you take the GRE Mathematics Subject Test?

It assesses not only your knowledge of advanced mathematical concepts, but it also touches base with the foundations of the subject – questions that require basic knowledge of precalculus concepts can be among the most difficult on the exam.

This course will help you understand the basics as well as prepare for the most difficult question types on the GRE Test.
