Our programmes are designed to strengthen foundation skills and prepare you for IGCSE exams.These classes provide intense exam orientated practice of individual question and strategy for:

 

IGCSE English Language Paper 2 & 3
IGCSE English Literature / World Literature Unseen Poetry & Prose
IGCSE Edexcel English Literature

With regular attendance, students will:

  • Learn how to approach and score highly for each question
  • Learn how to plan, analyse, brainstorm to structure essays and questions
  • Practice all relevant past papers in an examination environment
  • Receive detailed, valuable feedback

  • Hedda Gabler  -Henrik Ibsen
  • The Secret River – Kate Grenville
  • Merchant of Venice – Shakespeare
  • Songs of Ourselves, All My Sons – Arthur Miller

 

Time: Sunday 11:30 am – 1 pm

IB English Language & Literature Classes

 

These classes provide intense exam orientated practice of individual question and strategy for:

 

IB English Language-Literature Paper 2 & 3
IB English Literature Paper 1 & 2

With regular attendance, students will:

  • Build upon foundation skills obtained at IGCSE
  • Learn how to insightfully analyse media and complex literary texts
  • Learn how to make comparative notes for literary texts
  • Practice all relevant past papers in an examination environment
  • Receive detailed, valuable feedback
  • Prepare for internal assessments such as Internal Oral Presentation (IOP), Internal Oral Commentary (IOC), Written Tasks and Further Oral Activity (FOA)
