In this digital world, she operates with responsibility, creativity, flexibility, and passion. After experiencing the global pandemic, she has been confidently teaching online and enjoys it. In science, she is inclined toward an empirical approach to ensure everything is supported by facts and evidence. She always seeks an excellent organizational structure to make meaning of the vast disorder around us. However, after teaching Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics for many years, she knows there will still be times when unexpected situations arise. As a teacher, she always makes it a point to handle such situations with composure and presence of mind.
Expertise
Since college, she has gathered extensive teaching experience in both private and public school settings in the Philippines and Singapore. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Science Teaching, majoring in Physics, and has been teaching professionally for over six years. She is able to handle classes for various Mathematics and Science courses, including General Science, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Science, Integrated Physics and Chemistry, Earth and Life Sciences, Algebra I & II, Integrated Mathematics, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics.
Objective
She continuously immerses herself in workshops and seminars to improve her professional knowledge as a Math and Science teacher. She aims to provide comprehensive lectures, handouts, and visual images or videos to help students understand concepts they are not grasping well. She hopes to inspire her students to always have the will and passion to strive to become the best versions of themselves so they can also develop a sense of service to help others in myriad ways.
