Mini holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and has been teaching Math at the undergraduate and pre-university level since 1989, with over 32 years of experience. In particular, she has taught the IB and IGCSE since 2009. She is also a qualified IB Examiner for Mathematics HL/SL internal assessment and HL Papers.
Her specific areas of expertise include creating teaching modules using GeoGebra and mind maps with clear ideas for easy learning. She develops jigsaw puzzles to help students quickly grasp concepts, particularly using Tarsia Puzzle software to create materials for complex numbers, calculus, sketching graphs, indices and logarithms for IB/IGCSE, and teaching algebraic methods for middle school. She provides worksheets at easy, medium, and challenging levels to stimulate students’ creative and logical mathematical thinking. She makes the learning of mathematics engaging by sharing anecdotes crafted from the life histories of mathematicians. She guides students in mathematical extended essays, helping them improve their grades to “A” and “B”. She also advises and recommends students in the application process for higher studies at premium colleges and universities in the US and UK.
With well over 13 years of IB/IGCSE teaching experience, her focused objective has been to help students strengthen their grasp and command across Mathematics Higher Level, Mathematics Standard Level, both AA and AI for Grades XI and XII, as well as Additional Mathematics, International Mathematics, and Extended Mathematics for the IGCSE Program for Grades IX and X.
