About
¡Hola! I am a Spanish native with a bachelor’s in History of Art and a master’s degree in Secondary Education. My entrepreneurial and adventurous spirit and my interest in knowing the world led me to train with the Instituto Cervantes as a DELE teacher and examiner to work outside my country, as a Spanish teacher for foreigners. I moved to India to teach Spanish, where I have worked in international schools for over eight years. I am also a certified hatha yoga instructor!
Expertise
I am a trained facilitator of IGCSE, IBDP (both SL and HL), and DELE A1 to C1. I have experience in online and in-person setups.
Objective
What excites me most about the teaching profession is promoting a safe space for students to explore and discover, to question, and to think critically. To me, a teacher is a facilitator who guides the learners in the path of making the best out of their potential and helps them to become responsible learners and better citizens. I focus on tailor-made, individualized learning experiences, where the learners feel challenged, engaged, confident and appreciated. Learning a language is a process that needs to be enjoyed to be impactful.
