Padma is a seasoned educator with over 15 years of experience in IBDP Economics. Currently the Head of the Economics Department, she actively contributes to academic leadership and regularly attends CAIE and IBDP workshops to stay updated on teaching methods and assessment trends. Outside of teaching, Padma enjoys yoga, fitness, and travel, which enhances her perspective and informs her educational approach.
Padma has a strong background in teaching IBDP, IGCSE, Edexcel, and A Level Economics, with over 120 students successfully guided through online learning. She has worked with students from diverse countries such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Switzerland, and the U.S. As an IBDP Economics examiner, she brings valuable insight into curriculum standards and assessment strategies. Padma excels in tailoring her teaching to individual needs, incorporating real-world events and current affairs to deepen students’ understanding of Economics.
