IB English Language & Literature
Our IB English language & literature (SL & HL) programme is designed to enable learners to critically read and interpret literary as well as non-literary texts in various forms. This helps not only in analyzing texts, but also in the ability to present your thoughts effectively.
1:1 and Group Classes
We teach a hybrid model of solo and regular timetabled group classes (currently online). We assess the individual needs of every student and, partnering with parents, mutually decide on an appropriate course of study for the student. Our general recommendation is that students start their learning in a group class and once core theory has been understood, group sessions can be complemented with solo classes to consolidate learning and address any specific concerns.
We also offer paper marking services for this course. Having your practice papers marked will help give you a clear idea of where and how to improve. Please click here to know more.

UWCSEA East, IB student
The classes offered to me have helped me understand all of the requirements for the English A Language and Literature SL course thanks to the dedicated effort of Ms Sunita who guided me and helped me improve in areas I was weak in by grading papers and constantly giving me feedback on where to improve. Moreover, the tips and strategies suggested in the classes helped me organise my essays in an efficient manner and helped me raise an entire grade. I am very grateful for the time Ms Sunita put in to help me.
UWCSEA Dover, IB Student
The classes taught me strategies to answer all types of questions, instead tackling one question at a time. By the time IB exams came I had a fairly good understanding of the best way to approach each paper - time management, planning, annotation, keywords etc.

He got 7/7! Thanks to you, you changed his aptitude for the subject.
National Public School (NPS), Student with Young Scholarz from Grade 9 to Grade 12
1. The main thing Young Scholarz helped me with is essay writing.- How to plan out, develop and execute a good essay.
2. Another thing is how to further develop my ideas, rather than have a generic thought process.
